6. WHO'S COMING TO ISRAEL 
The Jewish Agency has announced that despite the current difficulties in 
Israel, 696 immigrants are scheduled to arrive this coming week. Of these, 
418 are from the former Soviet Union, 113 from Argentina, 85 from Ethiopia, 
21 from the United States, and 8 from France... 
A group of parents of "lone soldiers" from the former Soviet Union is 
scheduled to arrive today for a week-long tour of Israel and a meeting with 
their children. The tour, sponsored by the Metro-West Federation and 
organized by the Jewish Agency's Aliyah [Jewish Immigration to Israel] 
Movement, will include a weekend in a hotel. Tomorrow, this week's 113 new 
immigrants from Argentina will be officially greeted, and 35 prospective 
new immigrants will begin a pilot tour of Israel organized by the Aliyah
